Research has shown that diabetes can negatively affect sleep quality, and that poor sleep can sometimes be linked with certain problems, both of which are outlined above. There are ways to combat poor sleep, such as establishing a consistent sleeping schedule, eating two hours before that time, and maintaining a bedroom temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius.
